Professional Project: Team
The design process was completed in mid-2021 and I arrived at A2Z as the construction phase was just beginning. Over 4 weeks, I worked with a team of mechanical and electrical engineers to build 5 prototypes. We assembled the sheet metal, motors, rods, couplings, and all other components. Then, we made the mechanical connections with various sized screws, bolts, nuts, and washers. Finally, we soldered the motors’ electrical components to wiring that we cut to length and brought back to the junction box which contained the Arduino programmed electronics. Working on this project improved my soldering and tool skills. Additionally, I gained knowledge of electronics and mechanical systems through hands-on experience.
